Righteousness, Freedom, and Peace

November 21, 2018

I present here two sermons from the Rev William Tatter, 1893-1963, from the West Pullman Hungarian Baptist Church in Chicago, IL, USA for the 1958 and 1959 holiday season. He was an intellectual, living without much means on a tiny salary, unlike the megachurch evangelists of today, who have seemed to lost the true meaning of righteousness, freedom, and peace. He was committed to using and encouraging the “free pulpit”.

The Rev William Tatter was born in the Austrio-Hungarian Empire to a family of Baptist ministers, with a long history of being discriminated against and jailed for preaching and giving out bibles. This is why they came to America – for religious freedom. He was my grandfather. He preached in Chicago, Kipling Saskatchewan Canada, and in New York during WWII.

These two sermons from his mature years are worthy of renewed contemplation and renewed commitment to loving spirituality through relationships, behavior, and attitude towards our fellow man. Nourish lasting concern for the best which can be expressed in living in harmony with all others.

Act in accord with ANONYMOUS – take up your personal responsibility!

January 26, 2013

Take on your personal reponsibility – Download,  share, produce, be free! – YOU ARE ANONYMOUS! Anonymous, the first true democracy has risen! Anonymous is true freedom! It is the force of the people on the Internet.  It cannot be stopped.  It was used in the Arab Spring.  It is a force for good.  It makes the world transparent.  It exposes corruption. If you use it, you are a force for good. Please put details of government corruption on the Internet! Let the peoople know!

On TechCrunch.com a commenter, AaronSw89691841 5pts, explained today about ANONYMOUS.  If you don’t understand the concept please read:

For links to videos about examples of ANONYMOUS actions click these links:

How Anonymous stopped Karl Rove from Stealing Ohio Again in 2011

“As there is much confusion and misunderstanding about what ANONYMOUS is and does exactly, we’d like to take this opportunity to elucidate our goals, ideology and ontological status.

First and foremost, it is important to realize that ANONYMOUS – in fact – does not exist.

ANONYMOUS is nothing but an idea, an internet meme, that can be appropriated by anyone, anytime to rally for a common cause that’s in the benefit of humankind.

This means anyone can launch a new ideological message or campaign under the banner of ANONYMOUS.

Anyone can take up a leading role in the spreading of the ANON-consciousness.

Whether or not these appropriations are legitimate is decided by the rest of the internet citizenry.

If the majority of the public agrees with a proposed appropriation, then the public will act.

If the majority of the public disagrees with a proposed appropriation, then the public will protest and label the message in question as not legitimate and thus not representing the values of ANONYMOUS.

This makes ANONYMOUS the first really democratic institution in the world, necessarily being good by definition.

This does not mean there can’t be ‘bad’ actions presented as coming from ANONYMOUS, but if the people do not agree with these actions, then these actions are – by definition – not undertaken by ANONYMOUS.

ANONYMOUS believes the only legitimate form of power is that power which rests on widespread public consent, and so there is not one person or group of people who can ever claim to be ANONYMOUS.

If you see someone talking about his or her membership and activity within ANONYMOUS – be sure this is a fraud.

ANONYMOUS does not exist, so one can only speak as ANONYMOUS in a depersonalized manner.

Yes – this means YOU are ANONYMOUS.

Take up your personal responsibility!

Download, share, produce – be free!

Because YOU are ANONYMOUS!

ANONYMOUS does exist!

Anonymous is for Freedom

We are Anonymous, We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”

Protest for Liberty, Justice and Against Government Corruption before We Lose It Completely

April 4, 2011

Do you want corporations and their corrupt government puppets or people to control the United States and make its laws?

If you want to preserve and defend YOUR democracy go to: http://t.co/vdcEEt0

What light is to the eyes,
what air is to the lungs,
what loves is to the heart,
liberty is to the soul of man.

          Robert G. Ingersoll

Our founding fathers fought for liberty in the Revolutionary War – at the Boston tea party and Concord and in the swamps around Charleston;

Our grandparents fought for liberty in WWI – in the trenches, on the sea, and on the Russian front;

Our parents fought for liberty in WWII and out of fear of communism in the Cold War –  on the beaches and hills of Guadalcanal, in the streets and on the bridges of Budapest, on the seas, and via the air over Berlin;

Our brothers, husbands, and friends fought out of fear of communism – during the Tet offensive, and in Saigon;

Our children and friends’ children are fighting to protect us from terrorism and for humanitarian reasons – in Iraq and in Afghanistan;

Our grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters, as well as countrymen protested and marched for liberty in the United States during the Civil Rights Movement – at Selma, Birmingham, and in Washington DC;

Our brothers and sisters stand up for liberty, opportunity, equality, and fairness daily regarding Health Care, Home Ownership, in the Courts, and at Work – in every town, in every prison, at every job, in every health facility, in every court, and at every rural crossroads.

In every struggle and battle and in every war, there are casualties. We accept them and do not run from the fight. That’s what it means to love others more than self, to treasure not just life, but also liberty, opportunity, equality, and justice.

The least I can do is stand up forcefully for liberty and its cousin justice at home, in memory and in honor of all those that came before, as well as for all those who come in the future!

We won’t retake it if we don’t fight. That’s what it means to love thy neighbor and one’s fellow men.

I’s rather go down standing up then grovel on my knees as a slave to the corrupt police, prosecutors, judges and politicians in America.

I will continue to expose the corrupt, enlighten the public through the Internet (our great equalizer), and challenge the corrupt.

Won’t you join me – for your children and grandchildren? Send me a comment and I’ll tell you how you can help.
